The Change Manager role

We are currently seeking a friendly and approachable Change Management & Training Consultant to be based near our Leeds office, in a hybrid working location. This role includes travel as and when needed and is a customer and end-user-facing role. You would be part of our SaaS delivery team, leading in deployments and training of multiple products.

You will be working within our experienced training and change team, supporting businesses with the deployment of Google Workspace. Confidence in public speaking and presentation skills are a must as you will be providing classroom, 1-2-1 and remote training sessions for a variety of customers and delivering change management workshops to stakeholders.

Your role will also include working in our SaaS Delivery team to lead change management activities within a project, building strategies around transitioning between platforms, communicating business change, and supporting end users during their transition to Google Workspace.

You will be exposed to a wide variety of technologies, with a rapidly growing feature set that you will be expected to understand at an end-user level.

 

Responsibilities of the Change Manager role (including but not limited to)

  • Act as the Change Management SME within projects
  • Work with a project team to understand technical implementations
  • Translate technical terminologies into understandable terms for non-technical users
  • Building and maintaining Change Management solutions
  • Writing clear end user comms preparing them for technical transformations
  • Delivering Workshops to key business stakeholders
  • Understanding and updating training structures
  • Performing live training sessions on SaaS technologies
  • Both writing and video recording end user guides
  • Applying knowledge in Change Management methodologies
  • Providing direct end user support in the form of floor walking and on video calls

 

Requirements of the Change Manage role

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in the following areas:

  • Self reliant with strong capability to learn and adapt to constant change
  • Experienced using communication and editor tools
  • Experienced in change management methodologies
  • Have past experience as a trainer or teacher, as well as delivering change management projects
  • Comfortable with engaging in conversation and working within teams
  • Very good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Hold a full UK driving licence

It would be advantageous for any candidate to:

  • Experience training of software / SaaS based solutions
  • Have a genuine passion for learning new technologies
  • Previous experience using Google Workspace (Gmail & Drive)
  • B2B classroom teaching experience
  • Experience delivering remote training
  • A Change Management certification migrations and/or deploying virtual machines
  • Have the Professional Google Workspace Administrator certification (and/or other certifications from Microsoft or IBM for their messaging systems)
  • Have ran scripts in a CLI environment
  • Have knowledge of security, authentication, and authorisation
  • Have a general knowledge of GCP or other cloud platforms
